To the boy who didn't break my heart

I was more infatuated with the idea of you than the actual person you were. I made up some fake fairytale in my head and couldn't see reality. I don't miss you and I'm sorry if I ever made things awkward or uncomfortable for you because of my obliviousness. I thought you were lonely and I never even saw that you had everything you needed without me.  I've learned from my mistakes. Maybe this has been a shortlived feeling but it taught me so much. I understand now, the things I was blind to before.

The one thing I don't understand. If you two were already together why hesitate to mention it? Perhaps I'm overthinking this but you have shown me just how amazing a friendship can be.

Thank you to the girls who picked me back up with piles of candy and tissues when I didn't think I needed it. I will do my best to repay you both for the kindness you have shown me.
